The present invention relates to a channel switching method when a television broadcast channel is tuned by using a numeric key for switching channels when the broadcast channel (CH) of a television receiver is tuned. If you tune into the channel you are watching, that is, channel 9 again, you can visually check channel 9 that is tuned and displayed on the screen, and then switch back to the desired broadcasting channel (e.g. channel 11 or 7).
