Mandrel 6 is made in form of hollow cylinder with circular groove 7 on which pressure meter 8 is rigidly secured. Counteracting members are mounted on end faces of specimen 9. Counteracting members are made in form of shells 10 with wedge tyre inserts 11. Support 2 has stepped grooves 13. Dynamometer 14 is fitted on steps of support. Device has cylindrical piston 15, replaceable bushing 16 with ring bead 17 and sealing rings 18. Novelty is making of circular slot 4 and flange 5 on support 1, making of groove 7 on holder 6 and use of pressure meter 8, shells 10 and wedge type inserts 11 in counteracting member, stepped grooves 13 on support 2, replaceable bushing 16 with ring bead 17 and sealing rings 18.
