FIELD: abrasive materials. SUBSTANCE: glassy bond based on borosilicate glass is intended for manufacturing boron nitride abrasive tools employed for polishing high-strong multiply-alloyed steels. Bond contains, mol-%: oxides of silicon, 58.6-68.0; manganese, 3.0-7.0; boron, 9.0-11.5; sodium, 3.2-6.4; potassium, 2.3- 4.3; lithium, 8.5-12.0; and, additionally, barium, 0.75-2.35, and strontium, 0.075-2.35; two last oxides are in 1:1 proportion.
