FIELD: evaporators. SUBSTANCE: invention provides for thermal cleaning of salt-containing liquids which are superheated relative to pressure of medium in vapor space of apparatus. Evaporator contains housing 1 with separator 8 and secondary vapor receiving and discharging chamber 9 located inside it on upper bottom 2; located in vapor space of apparatus under these units are blow-down water inlet branch pipes mounted at inclined tangential inlet leading to circular passage formed by guide ferrule 11 of vapor-and-water mixture component separator. Blow-down water accumulating chamber 13 is mounted in lower portion of vapor space of apparatus housing 1, water distributing chamber 15 is located under chamber 13 coaxially relative to housing 1; these chambers are connected by means of pipe lines 14 having tangential inlet to distributing chamber 15. Heating section 19 mounted in water space of housing 1 is made in form of vertical tube bundle 21 enclosed in cylindrical shell 22 which is separated from housing 1 by means of down slit 20 and is connected with heating vapor supply pipe line 24 through upper tube sheet 23 and with heating vapor condensate discharge pipe line 26 through lower tube sheet 25. Located above heating section 19 is submersible perforated sheet made in form of truncated cone or truncated polygonal pyramid having central plane 16 and peripheral inclined part 17 and bead 18. Product receiving and discharging chamber 27 is located in lower portion of water space of housing 1. EFFECT: improved quality of secondary vapor at any pressure; increased range of loads. 1 dwg
