FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of ferroalloys into ladle, discharge of metal and slag, balancing blowing with neutral gas, sampling, addition of ferroalloys correcting chemical analysis, and final blowing. Distinguishing feature of invention is that, with slag layer thickness not exceeding 200 mm and weight of ferroalloys added into ladle before tapping not exceeding 700 kg, balancing blowing is performed for 2 min, whereas, if above-indicated magnitudes are exceeded, balancing blowing is performed for 3-5 min and introduction of ferroalloys correcting chemical analysis of metal and final blowing are performed not earlier than 70% of metal-in-ladle residence time (from beginning of tapping to beginning of casting) is expired. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
