Storage-stable RTV1 system (room temp.-vulcanisable one-component silicone rubber compsn.) undergoing carboxysilane cure is obtd. by mixing an alpha ,w-dihydroxypolydimethylsiloxane with an alkyl-terminated polydialkylsiloxane, carboxysilane, filler, cure catalyst and opt. usual additives. The novelty is that a dialkyl-Sn dichloride of formula R1R2SnCl2 (I) is used as stabiliser; in which R1, R2 = 1-10 C alkyl.
