Breast prosthesis for women who have had mastectomy

Women having had a mastectomy are provided with a breast prosthesis consisting of a soft elastic plastic body (1) comprising plastic films (2,3) joined along their edge (23) and enclosing a plastic material (4) and simulating the natural form at the front (21) and fitting the upper body of the woman at the back (31). An elastic deformable flat part (6) is fastened to the plastic body within the joined edge of the plastic films, being welded (7) or bonded at its edge (611) to the rear (31) of the plastic body. The flat part and plastic body enclose a cavity (5). The flat part is preferably of polyamide and/or polyester fibres and/or cotton or is of polyurethane film.
