The apparatus according to the invention for the bobbin winding of a sliver of textile fibres 2, this apparatus being located at the exit of a guide 1 for the sliver and comprising a mandrel 4 intended for receiving the sliver as a result of the winding of the latter and a winding cylinder 6 adjacent to the mandrel 4 and intended for directing the sliver onto the latter, is characterised in that the zone 7 of cooperation or of convergence of the mandrel 4 and of the winding cylinder 6 is located in the vicinity of the exit of said guide 1, in order to receive the sliver 2 directly, and in that the peripheral surface 8 of the mandrel 4 possesses, at least locally, properties of attachment in respect of the sliver 2.
