The device according to the invention for the winding in the coil of a strip of textile fibers 2, this device being located at the output of a waveguide 1 to the ribbon and comprising a mandrel 4 intended to receive the strip by winding that - ci and a winding cylinder 6 in the region of the chuck 4 and intended to direct the strip on the one - latter, is characterized by the fact that the zone 7 of cooperation or convergence of the chuck 4 and the winding cylinder 6 is located in the vicinity of the output of the guide 1 in order to receive directly the strip 2 and that the peripheral surface 8 of the chuck 4 has at least locally of velcro-type hook properties in respect of the strip 2.
