Date May 1, 1997This invention provides a method for isolating antitumor agents, inhibiting enterocytogenins, from pig intestinal mucosa. It further provides the antitumor agents, which are nucleopeptides. Additionally the invention provides methods for suppressing the growth of certain tumor cells comprising administering an inhibiting enterocytogenin to tumor cells.
