PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate power simulation while keeping the processing speed of simulation at a certain level. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a trace means 3 for inputting an instruction stream 1 of execution program and generating trace information 5 of that execution program, stall information detecting means 9 for inputting the trace information 5 generated by the trace means 3 and detecting stall information 11 of execution program and power consumption calculating means 15 for calculating the power consumption value of execution program from a power consumption library 13 considering the stall information detected by the stall information detecting means 9 while using this stall information 11 so that power information 17 considering stall can be provided.
