OPTIMUM METHOD FOR NOISE CONTROL, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER HAVING OPTIMUM NOISE CONTROLLING CAPACITY, AND NOISE-CONTROLLED ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum noise control by conducting the maximum noise to a specified position in a space. ;SOLUTION: A discorotron system 70 includes two coronoid wires 71 and 72, and an electrification leveling screen 78, which are mounted on a bottom supporting member provided on a frame 76. The coronodes 71 and 72 is severally supplied with electric power by respective power source 90 and 91, and these power sources is severally phase controlled by the phase controller 77. One of the noise controlling method for the discorotron is consisting in conducting the noise generated by the discorotron to a specific position. As a result of relocation of the sound field, the unwanted noise dissipated inside a printer. In order to maximizing the processing, an absorbing material 79 can be placed in a position to which the unwanted noise is conducted. The noise from the discorotron 70 is relocated by setting the coronodes 71 and 72 to the different phase with use of the phase controller 77.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
