PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of installation construction of a caisson, by which the levelling works of sand by a seabottom operator are unnecessitated while the term of works is shortened and the quantity of underwater concrete placed can be reduced while improving operating efficiency. ;SOLUTION: In a method of installation construction of a caisson, templates 4 are sunk beforehand as the rules of foundation piles 3 and pans at the time of the sinking of the caisson before the foundation piles are driven when the caisson 1 is mounted and fixed onto a plurality of the foundation piles 3 driven to a seabottom ground, the lower sections of the outer frames of the templates 4 are filled with fill sand NS in specified height, a plurality of the foundation piles 3 are driven, and concrete CM is placed in regions surrounded by fill sand NS and the foundation piles 3 and the templates 4 are integrally combined gradually.
