PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enzymatic sensor, particularly an enzymatic sensor for measuring the activity of -amylase enzyme contained in a biological fluid such as blood, and to provide a method for measuring the activity of the -amylase contained in the biological fluid with the enzymatic sensor. ;SOLUTION: This enzymatic sensor for measuring the activity of -amylase enzyme contained in a biological fluid comprises an electrode component produced by successively laminating an immobilized glucose oxidase enzyme membrane 4, the first restriction membrane 5, an immobilized -glucosidase enzyme membrane 6 and the second restriction membrane 7 to a hydrogen peroxide electrode. The method for measuring the activity of the -amylase enzyme contained in a biological fluid comprises detecting the production amount of maltose and its oligomers produced by the reaction of a biological specimen with starch or its component as the change in an electric current by the use of the enzymatic sensor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
