PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shrinkage band which is light, corrects defomaation of a tube face of a cathode-ray tube due to air pressure, effectively prevents internal explosion of the cathode-ray tube, suppresses color difference, and has excellent processibility, provide a cathode-ray tube using the band, and provide a manufacturing method for the cathode-ray tube. ;SOLUTION: A heat shrinkage band 7 is produced using a steel plate having not so high yield stress at normal temperature and 20% or more elongation at normal temperature and provided with 40kg/mm2 yield stress by heating at the time of heat shrinkage and the heat shrinkage band 7 is installed in the outer circumference of a panel part 1 by setting the heating temperature preferably at 600°C or lower at the time of heat shrinkage. The heat shrinkage band 7 is made of a cold-rolled steel having two-phase structure consisting of, for example, ferrite phase and martensite phase.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
