SPECIAL JOINT FITTING FOR AFC CONSTRUCTION METHOD, WOOD MEMBER JOINTING METHOD USING THIS FITTING, AND METHOD OF CUTTING THIS FITTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting that can joint easily while being manufactured easily by providing cylindrical parts integrally along both opposed edges of a rectangular plate part of the fitting inserted in holes formed in wood members so as to joint the wood members to each other. SOLUTION: This fitting 10 is provided with cylindrical parts 12 integrally provided along both opposed edges of a rectangular plate part 11. A lower end part 12a of the cylindrical part 12 is formed in semispherical shape and provided with a notch 12b into which a conical wedge can be thrusted. A lower edge 11a of the plate part 11 is further rounded. In case of jointing another lumber 32 horizontally to the intermediate part of a wood member 31 horizontally constructed on the foundation of a building, cylindrical holes 51 and rectangular holes 52 vertically piercing the lumber 31, 32 and corresponding to the half of the cylindrical part 12 and plate part 11 of the fitting 10 are formed at the side part of the lumber 31 and the end part of the lumber 32. The fitting 10 is then fitted into the holes 51, 52 to joint the lumber 32 to the lumber 31.
