RECONSTRUCTION METHOD AND RECONSTRUCTION ROOF OF BATTEN SEAM ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable roof and inexpensively and simply achieve reconstruction of a batten seam roof with corroded tilting boards and sheatings by repairing only the corroded tilting boards and sheathings with respect to the batten seam roof and reconstructing the roof whose tilting boards and sheathings hardly corrode by rain water. ;SOLUTION: This reconstruction method of a batten seam roof is to compose a reconstructed roof by using a tilting board commonly by covering the top of a main roof, whose tilting board of the batten seam roof are repaired, with the main roof 1 and constructing a new roof 2 laid with metal plate bodies 5 of steep inclination of 75mm inclination, which is steeper than the main roof 1, or preferably more than 90mm inclination. Corrosion of the tilting boards and the sheathings is prevented by the steeply inclined new roof 2 and the contents of the reconstructing work can be remarkably simplified by limiting the repair of the batten seam roof to the tilting board section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
