PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disassemble a blast furnace safely and at low cost by setting a suspension and exchange device out of the furnace, installing it on a carriage at a level higher than a furnace body foundation at the time of disassembling a furnace body ring and transporting a furnace block by lifting it down by the suspension and exchange device. ;SOLUTION: A ring block 1 is cut and disassembled on a foundation 6, and it is placed on a rail 5 by a suspension rod 2. Thereafter, a movable carriage 3 with the ring block 1 installed on it is moved in an arrow 14 direction by a driving cylinder 4, and it is loaded on a dolly engine frame 13 on a dolly 11. Thereafter, the ring block 1 is moved by the dolly 11 and transported to a suspension and exchange device. Thereby, the dolly 11 is pulled out by connecting the ring block 1 to an elevating rod, the dolly engine frame 13 is lowered at a specified position, and the dolly 11 is returned again to below the suspension and exchange device. Thereafter, the ring block 1 is loaded on the dolly 11 by a center hole jack, and it is transported to a shed.
