PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the cooling time of rice inside a rotary drum, to automate sushi rice discharge and to improve work efficiency. ;SOLUTION: Rotary shafts 21 and 21' are respectively projectingly provided on the center part of both left and right side walls 5b of the rotary drum 5 provided with an agitating member 26 inside, the inside of one rotary shaft 21 is formed into a blowing path 23 and the inside of the other rotary shaft 21' is formed into an air discharge path 22 respectively. An opening part 5g for feeding the rice and discharging sushi rice is largely opened on the peripheral wall of the rotary drum 5 and an opening/closing lid 5h for opening and closing the opening part 5g is disposed through opening/closing means 16 and 16'.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
