PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality polyester fiber which hardly damages a part in contact with it in its travelling even when it contains a high concn. of titanium dioxide and which is excellent in properties to pass through the steps of spinning, false twisting, weaving, etc. ;SOLUTION: A polysiloxane having a viscosity of 20,000-1,000,000cSt at 25°C and titanium dioxide particles are dispersed in a polyester fiber in such concns. that when A and B are the concns. by wt.% of the polysiloxane and the particles, respectively, the relations: 1≤B≤8 and 0.25B≤A≤4B are satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
