PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease vibrations as much as practicable and suppress noise emission even if a rod material having a polygonal section is used. ;SOLUTION: A bracket having a rod penetrating hole is secured to the base of a rod supplying device, and a link mechanism 22 is operated by a cylinder- piston mechanism fixed to the bracket, and a pair of movable plates 30a and 30b equipped with rod inserting holes 32a and 32b are pivoted on the bracket and connected with the link mechanism 22, and a stopper mechanism 39 for restricting the operating amount of the link mechanism 22 is mounted on the bracket, wherein the rod inserting holes 32a and 32b are aligned when the link mechanism 22 is out of operation while they 32a and 32b are displaced from each other by swinging the two plates 30a and 30b when the link mechanism 22 is in operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
