REGENERATION OF WASTE OIL AND APPARATUS FOR REGENERATING WASTE OIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a waste oil by generated hydrogen ions, to regenerate the waste oil of an edible oil once deteriorated and to reuse the regenerated oil by pouring water containing an electrolyte and the waste oil to a waste oil tank. ;SOLUTION: First, a waste oil regenerating tank 1 is charged with a waste oil 3 of an edible oil and electroconductive water 2 containing an electrolyte (e.g. NaHC0₃). Then, in a state of plural electrodes 4a and 4b put in part of the water 2 in the tank 1, a DC or AC voltage is impressed between the electrodes, the water 2 is hydrolyzed so that the waste oil 3 existing on the water is regenerated. Finally, the regenerated oil is taken out from the tank l by a regenerated oil extracting part 7. Preferably, a water tank 5 is installed, city water is stored in the tank 5 and the water is mixed with the electrolyte by the tank 5. The regenerated oil extracting part 7 is equipped with a filter 8 and foreign matters in the regenerated oil are preferably removed.
