PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain comfortable usability over a long period by applying a colored composite plating film contg. colored fluoride pitch on the surface of the member for a cooking utensil. ;SOLUTION: The colored fluoride pitch as the essential element of a plating film is obtained by dispersing and mixing a colorant in a fluoride pitch on a near molecular level. Accordingly, since the colored fluoride pitch is dispersded in the plated base material (matrix phase), the plating film has combined property of the inherent property of a fluorine compd. and that of the base material. Particularly, when a fluoride pitch using an inorg. pigment is used as the color component, a highly appropriate composite plating film having such characteristics as high water repellency and lubricity and resistance to wear, staining, scorching, etc., resulting from the fluorine compd., having such characteristics as high hardness, strength, heat conductivity, electrical conductivity and adhesion to the base material due to the matrix metal and without the color being thermally changed or faded is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
