PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively treating Valsa ceratosperma in good workability. ;SOLUTION: When Valsa ceratosperma developed on e.g. trunks of apple trees is to be treated, a wet cotton cloth stuck with natto (fermented soybean) is attached to the affected part(s) and then covered with a vinyl plastic sheet so as to keep the affected part(s) stuck with Bacillus natto wet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
