PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extending a sunroom, which can effectively use a lot or a space, which gives a high degree of freedom so as to allow the sunroom to have a large space, and which can simply built the sunroom. ;SOLUTION: Four columns 41, top beams adapted to connect the upper ends of these columns 41 with one another, bottom beams adapted to connect the lower ends of these columns 41 with one another are assembled so as to form a box-like frame 40A which can bear a vertical load applied thereto, and a sunroom is set up within this box-like frame 40A so as to build up a sunroom unit 22A beforehand. Further, a footing is laid in a lot where the sunroom is to be extended, and a sunroom unit 22A is set on this footing. The upper and lower part of the sunroom are connected to those of the frame 40A of a housing unit 12 through the intermediary of an expansion joint 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
