OIL MUFFLER USED IN FORCED LUBRICATION TYPE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a pair of seal rings on a seal position so as to obtain good sealing performance by storing a spring spacer ring which is fit to an input shaft between a pair of seal rings and arranged a plurality of cut erecting parts on both sides, in an oil sump. ;SOLUTION: Lubricating oil from an oil pump flows into an oil sump 24 through an oil cooler and an oil passage 25. Since the oil sump 24 is formed in such a constitution that a hole is opened to an input shaft 22 and to opened to the oil sump 24 so as to connect an oil passage 26 to the oil passage of an output shaft, lubricating oil flows from the oil sump 24 to the oil passage 26, and supplied to a plurality of speed gears, a needle bearing, and the like. In this case, a spring spacer ring 13 formed by arranging a plurality of cut erecting parts 16, 17 which is fit to the input shaft 22 between seal rings 11, 12 on both ring surfaces 14, 15, is stored in the oil sump 24, and thereby, the seal rings 11, 12 are separated from each other so as to hold it on a prescribed sealing position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
