PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-winding type hybrid stepping motor, a six-phase type hybrid stepping motor, and driving thereof which can improve positioning accuracy as well as reduction in the cost of a drive. ;SOLUTION: In a multi-winding type hybrid stepping motor, two sets of Δtype three-phase windings 20, 21 by Δ connection are provided, using a phase difference of θ/2 degree at an electrical angle to drive Δ type three-phase windings 20, 21 alternately with the three-phase drivers 23, 24 of a drive 22.
