PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a lever for adjusting the lateral position of the reaping section of a combine harvester in its laterally reaping section-sliding mechanism. ;SOLUTION: In this combine harvester in which the position of a reaping section can be laterally switched through parallel links, a reaping section-sliding operation lever 64 for switching the position of the reaping section is arranged at a place near to an operation seat on the right side of the reaping section. The sliding operation lever 64 is downwardly extended, and downwardly energized with a spring. The lower end of the sliding operation lever 64 can be fit into plural perforated catching holes 17A, 17B, 17C to fix the sliding operation lever at the plural positions. The sliding operation lever 64 is disposed at a placed near to the operation seat and supported with an attaching stay 65a and a right side link bracket 61R. When the reaping section is slid, an operator lifts the sliding operation lever 64 in a state positioned at the operation seat, manually pushes or pulls the sliding operation lever 64, rotates the lever to a desired position, and subsequently release the lever from his hand. Thus, the lower end of the sliding lever is fit and locked to either of the catching holes with the energizing force of the spring.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
