The present invention relates to a controlled hydraulic transmission that may be used in force transmissions or vehicle transmissions as well as in cinematic systems requiring a constant change in the transmission ratio. This transmission may also be used as a continuous-variation gearbox for vehicles. During operation, the hydraulic transmission of the present invention can provide any transmission ratio with higher efficiency factor, number of revolutions and power. This transmission includes a device casing (21) and shafts (40, 41) fitted with roller-type displacers (44, 28), wherein a sleeve (23) capable of axial displacement is mounted between said casing and shafts. The chamber inside the sleeve is defined by a pair of transversal discs (38, 38') and separated into two sections by a fixed wall (33). The transmission ratio of this hydraulic transmission is equal to the ratio between the volumes of its chambers and may be modified by longitudinally displacing the sleeve towards its output element (50).
