The present invention relates to a process for utilizing/recycling natural or agglomerated cork-bark stoppers, after unrolling, for uses other than sealing. The process of the invention involves the standardization/preparation of the upper and lower ends of the stoppers, the optional piercing of the stoppers, the gluing of the stoppers end to end, the pairing/wearing away of the sticks obtained, and possible finishing operations. The present invention also relates to the products obtained by means of this process and to their use for the manufacture of a variety of useful accessories and articles, such as pens, cutlery handles, cooking-utensil handles, razor handles, tool handles, door knobs and drawer handles and the like.
