COASTAL TERMINAL FOR LOADING/UNLOADING OF SHIPS AND METHOD FOR ITS ERECTION

FIELD: hydraulic engineering structures. SUBSTANCE: this relates basically to loading and unloading of mainly liquid cargo such as crude oil or liquified natural gas and/or loose bulk materials. In construction of coastal ship loading/unloading terminal, arranged in water area at distance from each other larger than ship width are at least two berths for ships. Each berth is made in the form of floating container or settler of length equal to at least length of ship. Aforesaid containers or settlers are located parallel to each other with creation of navigable waterway between them which is perpendicular to prevailing direction of wind and/or water flow and drift of ice. Navigable waterway is provided with counterlocated inlet and outlet which have extending guards against oil slip. Each berth at side opposite to its mooring wall can be made with sloped fill having streamline configuration in plan. Floating containers or settlers can be arranged on common supporting plate, and sloped fills can be made with supporting sites for location of personnel and equipment.
