READING DEVICE OF HYDROSTATIC GEODETIC LEVEL

FIELD: geodetic operations. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for geodetic operations in the capacity of reading device of hydrostatic geodetic level with remote (automatic) information pickoff. It has case 1 housing light source including one or several pairs of point light sources 2, 3, 4 optically coupled to photodetector in the form of TV camera 5. Output of TV camera 5 is connected to recording unit in the form of computer 6. Point light sources in each pair are installed at distance determined from relationship L_n= K[X_max/X_min]^n-1H_min, where L_n is distance between point light sources in n-th pair; n is ordinal number of pair of point light sources ( n=1, 2...); K is constant coefficient; X_max is specified maximum distance between images of point light sources; X_min is specified minimum distance between images of point light sources; H_min is specified minimum measured level of liquid in vessel of hydrostatic geodetic level. Reading device can be used both in stationary and portable variants to measure level of explosion risky, corrosive, toxic, radioactive and other clear and opaque liquids in reservoirs, oil storages and reactors.
