PLANT FOR MANUFACTURE OF PIPES BY CENTRIFUGAL CASTING

FIELD: manufacture of pipes by centrifugal casting. SUBSTANCE: plant is intended for manufacture of plastic pipes reinforced with fibers and at least 6 m long and at least 150 mm in diameter. Plant has tubular die. As in the course of pipe manufacture, temperature of plastic changes, temperature of die changes too to change its length. To make such change possible, die is provided with rolling-contact bearings and its ends on the loading and unloading sides are rigidly secured to bearing inner races. In this case, bearing on the side of loading is installed immovable, and on the side of unloading is movable in axial direction. Motion is possible due to the fact that outer race of bearing rests on two supporting shoes of bearing brackets each of which has two webs between which bearing outer race on the side of unloading is installed for reciprocation. EFFECT: simple design of plant, efficient and reliable in operation. 5 dwg
