The stand comprises a one legged stand with a connector piece on the tip. An adaptor rail is attached to the connector piece. A camera can be fastened to the adaptor. The stand also comprises a shoulder halter for holding the one-legged stand. The combination stand further comprises a tripod of known construction with a device for receiving the one-legged stand as the central column of the tripod. Preferably the connector piece can be rotated horizontally on the lower part to change into different type stands. The connector piece has a lockable hinge at the tip for vertical movement.
