Selective delivery, flea and parasite exterminating mat for domestic cats and dogs

Anti-parasite carpet or mat for animals, comprises an upper layer of textile material and a lower coating of synthetic material. The latter contains homogeneously-distributed anti-parasitic product. Preferably the lower layer is latex, and is 0.3-1 mm thick. The anti-parasite is based on permethrin, at 1-2 % concentration in the synthetic material. It is introduced in emulsified form. The textile is a tufted polypropylene pile, made using an acrylic resin. Also claimed is the method of manufacture, which includes coating the textile pile evenly with a thickness of latex and anti-parasite mixture, followed by vulcanisation.
