PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for painting by providing the front end portion of a second arm part with a long-sized supporting arm and providing the supporting arm with freely turnable plural spray guns. ;SOLUTION: The robot arm 1 has the first arm part 3 which is freely bendably and pivotally supported at a main shaft 2 by a shaft 20 and the second arm part 4 which is freely bendably and pivotally supported at the first arm part 3 by a shaft 301. The main shaft 2 is mounted freely movably on a rail disposed in a painting chamber. The front end portion of the second arm part 4 is provided with a pair of projecting pieces 501 and is provided with the long-sized supporting arm 5 pivotally supporting the second arm part 4 and the projecting pieces 501 by a shaft 401. The spray guns 6 are further freely turnably mounted at both ends of the supporting arm 5. As a result, the time required for the painting work may be shortened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
