AUTOMATIC FEED AND SUPPLY DEVICE FOR BAR MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the opening operation of a plurality of bar material support parts of a rail means in the interlocking relationship with the gradual feed operation of a feed means without using a direct-acting structure in an automatic feed and supply device for bar material. ;SOLUTION: This automatic feed and supply device for bar material is provided with a pushing member 24 which feeds a bar material 14 gradually in the direction of axial line under the guidance of a rail means 20. Each of a plurality of bar material support parts 36 of the rail means 20 is provided with a pair of support members 48 hingedly-fitted and supported on a column 44. An opening and closing means 42 is provided with a cam shaft 52 supported on the column 44, a plate cam 54 supported on the cam shaft 52 fixedly, and a follower-element 58 oscillating in accordance with the rotation of the plate cam 54. The plate cams 54 arranged in adjacent to each support part 36 have a difference of phase in a profile shape mutually, and the support member 48 is displaced from a close position to an open position sequentially from the support part 36 on the upstream side in the direction of bar material feed to the support part 36 on the downstream side therein due to the simultaneous rotation of the plate cams 54 centered on the common cam shaft 52.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
