PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain polypropylene resin spun-bonded nonwoven fabric that has excellent flexibility, uniform texture with reduced fluffing and improved fusing properties. ;SOLUTION: This propylene resin for spun-bonded nonwoven fabric and the spun-bonded nonwoven fabric from this propylene resin satisfy the following conditions from (a)-(d), preferably from (a)-(f): (a) when the elastic modulus is set to A (Pa) at the crossing point of the storage elastic modulus (G') ad the loss modulus (G") in the mechanical rheometer of the parallel plate type at 180°C, B=10⁵/A is 1.90-3.18; (b) ≤0.60 wt.% of the soluble component with Mw=≤10³ based on the total resin component according to the GPC curve of the xylene-soluble fraction; (c) ≥20 seconds of the time F for the fabric to start generating heat in oxygen under specific conditions; (d) the ash residue G is ≤230 ppm after the perfect combustion; (e) the flexural modulus is 9,000-17,000 kg/cm²; (f) the tensile modulus is 60-30 g/d at a low shearing rate (10%/min), when fiber is drawn at a draw ratio of 6 under specific conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
