PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more effective solubilizer between a polar nitrogen compd. and an ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer or terpolymer in order to improve the flow characteristics of a paraffin-contg. mineral oil or mineral oil distillate. SOLUTION: This additive contains a mixture of at least one ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer or terpolymer with a paraffin dispersant. The mixture further contains, as a solubilizer, an ether and/or an ester provided that (a) the ether is represented by the formula: R-O-R' (wherein R is 4-30C alkyl or alkenyl; and R' is 1-30C alkyl or alkenyl) and (b) the ester is derived from a 4-30C carboxylic acid (acid group) and a 1-30C alcohol (alcohol group); or that (c) at least either the ether or the ester is a cyclic compd. having a 6-30C cycle.
