At the time of finding the detection of the PC card 3, a card kind judgement program 5 obtains the information of the tuple 10 of the PC card 3, compares it with a card classification database 6 and judges the kind of the PC card 3. When the kind of the PC card 3 is the data communication card, the card kind judgement program 5 extracts the optimized communication setting to the PC card 3 by a communication setting information database 7. The card kind judgement program 5 delivers the result to a communication execution program 8 as a communication setting information parameter. The communication execution program 8 receives the communication setting information parameter and sets an environment.
