PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive having various excellent pressure-sensitive adhesive properties including high-temperature holding power by using a block copolymer having in the main chain a polymer block comprising an alkyl methacrylate and having a specified glass transition temperature and a polymer block comprising an alkyl(meth)acrylate and having a specified glass transition temperature. ;SOLUTION: This adhesive contains a block copolymer having in the main chain a structure represented by the formula:-[a1]-[b]-[a2]-(wherein [a1] and [a2] are each a polymer block based on an alkyl methacrylate, desirably, an ester of methacrylic acid with a 3C or lower alcohol, and having a glass transition temperature of +110°C or above; and [b] is a polymer block based on an alkyl acrylate and/or an alkyl methacrylate, desirably, an ester of methacrylic acid with a 4C or higher alcohol and having a glass transition temperature of +30°C or below.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
