IRON ART METHOD (IRON ENGRAVING TECHNIQUE)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an artistic work utilizing texture of iron by a mixing technique using a cutting method, welding method and air gouging method in the case of engraving the iron. ;SOLUTION: In a first step, an iron plate is cut by a cutting method. In a second step, a part formed by the cutting method is engraved by an air gouging method to express or represent deeper sensitivity and detail. In a third step, parts are assembled by a welding method. A lump of iron is engraved in this step, and a manufacturer's sensitivity can be more artistically expressed. And, a corduroy steel is desired for outdoor. Representing engraving of the iron is performed by this technique. And, a matiere of the work has a plenty of change, and an artistic work utilizing texture of the iron different from a casting or bronze can be created.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
