PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the device for making air pollutants such as dust, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides and dioxines in an exhaust gas harmless and completely removing the pollutants. ;SOLUTION: This device for making harmful gas harmless is provided with the conical cyclone 1 having an outlet 1b at the lower part and with the diameter decreasing toward the outlet, a rotator 2 housed in the cyclone 1 at its upper part, ≥1 conical cylinders 2' positioned in the rotator 2, a large-diameter suction port 2'a on one side of the cylinder 2' and a small-diameter exhaust port 2'b on the opposite side, and a dust collector 3 connected to the outlet 1b. An exhaust gas from a flue 4 is fluidized by the centrifugal force produced by the rotator 2, discharged from the exhaust port 2'b in a high-speed compressed vortex flow state to form vortex flow in the cyclone 1 and discharged from the outlet 1b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
