PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully automate washing of polished rice and rice cooking by separately housing the polished rice for rice cooking and washing water, supplying water after supplying rice while measuring the polished rice, and starting the rice cooking by inputting the washed polished rice to a rice cooking vessel together with a proper quantity of water after being cleaned while agitating the polished rice and the water. ;SOLUTION: When rice is cooked, first of all, an opening/closing cover 17 is opened, and polished rice (a) is put in a rice supply vessel 11, and a cap of a water supply tank 10 is removed, and water (b) is put in it, and an opening/closing valve 15 is opened. Next, while looking at a display numeric value of a measuring display part D, a motor 19 is driven and operated, and while measuring a supply quantity of the polished rice (a) by a supply rice measuring instrument 18, and the polished rice (a) is supplied to a washer 3 of a washing part B through rice supply ports 13 and 14, and is agitated/polished under the existence of the water (b) by rotation of an agitating blade 7. Afterwards, the washed polished rice (a) is dropped/inputted in a rice cooking vessel 2 through a solenoid valve 25, and the water (b) is also replenished by a proper quantity in the rice cooking vessel 2 through the opening/closing valve 15 and the solenoid valve 25, and rice cooking is started.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
