PRODUCTION OF LONG-FIBER REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a long-fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molding in which a complex apparatus and control are unnecessary and the breakage of reinforcing fibers is controlled by a simple procedure. ;SOLUTION: In the first process, a screw 1, a screw head 3, and a backflow preventive device 2 are moved so that the volume of a space part surrounded by the screw head 3, a cylinder 4, and a cylinder head 4a is nearly equal to the total volume of a molding, a runner, a gate, and a sprue part; in the second process, a long-fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin which was supplied in the cylinder 4 and plasticated is transferred and packed into the space part by rotating the screw 1 and the screw head 3; and in the third process, the packed resin is discharged into a mold through a nozzle 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
