PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which is relatively simple, saves space, and can synchronize cutting speed with high sewing speed. ;SOLUTION: A cutting tool has a rotary knife 5 which can be driven about a rotation axis D perpendicular to a cutting plane S, and the rotary knife 5 forms at least one cutting blade 7 extending a part of the peripheral surface of the knife, the extension of the cutting blade 7 being different from an arc about the rotation axis D, so that the rotary knife 5 is not directly proportional to the total number of cutting blades but rotates at a number of rotation matching the feed of a sewn product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
