PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice field ridge making machine, capable of tightening ridges between rice fields without being affected by different soil types, weather or the like to make a firm ridge by providing a mechanism for forming a raised soil holding section on one side of an existing ridge. ;SOLUTION: This rice field ridge making machine is equipped with (A) a soil-raising mechanism 29 on a machine frame 3, connected to a movable machine body by a connecting mechanism, (B) a ridge-making mechanism on the machine frame 3 at the rear of the soil-raising mechanism 29, which can tighten soil raised by the soil-raising mechanism 29 on an existing ridge, to make a new ridge on the existing one, and (C) a mechanism 30 for forming a raised soil holding section K on one side of the existing ridge by means of a rotary compressing body 49. It is preferable that the machine is equipped with a rotary compressing body 47, capable of tightening raised soil, between a soil-raising mechanism 29 and a ridge-making mechanism.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
