TRAFFIC SUPERVISORY SYSTEM AND TRAFFIC SUPERVISORY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the traffic supervisory system that utilizes statistic information to supervise traffic with a high efficiency and high accuracy. ;SOLUTION: A usual value management means 11 records past traffic having been collected at a prescribed interval as a usual traffic, calculates a mean usual traffic being a mean value of the usual values, the standard deviation for the management. A current value management means 12 records current traffic collected at a prescribed interval as a current traffic and calculates the current traffic collected at a prescribed period for the management. A test means 13 calculates a reference variable based on the mean usual traffic, the standard deviation and the mean current traffic and tests whether or not the current traffic is regarded as the usual traffic based on the reference variable based on a significance level. An alarm notice means 14 informs of an alarm in the case that the current traffic cannot be regarded as the usual traffic as the result of test.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
