UNDERGROUND DISPLACEMENT GAUGE AND DISPLACEMENT MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable anyone to easily install an underground displacement gauge in the ground around a tunnel from inside an excavator when excavating the tunnel using the excavator having a shell and to enable underground displacements to be measured continuously even during construction work using the excavator. ;SOLUTION: A measuring pipe 2 inserted into a measuring hole is fixed at one end 2A in the depth of the hole by an end anchor 3 and a flange part 4 is fixed by a rear-end anchor 5 to the other end 2B of the measuring pipe 2 near a hole opening 103. A plate spring displacement gauge 7 and a data logger 9 are provided on the flange part 4, and data from the plate spring displacement gauge 7 is recorded by the battery-driven data logger 9 to measure underground displacements continuously.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
