PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable both a reduction in the occurrence of defective longitudinal feeding of seedlings even when the back surface of a seedling mat is in a shape having longitudinal grooves, etc., and the smooth transplanting operations in longitudinally feeding the seedling mat on a seedling-carrying platform with a seedling longitudinally feeding belt in a transplanter capable of longitudinally feeding the seedlings on a seedling-carrying platform by revolving a seedling longitudinally feeding belt around an upper and a lower feeding rollers provided in the seedling-carrying platform. ;SOLUTION: This seedling longitudinally feeding belt in a transplanter is obtained by installing plural longitudinally feeding protrusions 21 on the surface of a seedling longitudinal feeding belt, providing longitudinally feeding protruding ridge parts 22 continuous in the belt transverse direction in intervals S in the belt longitudinal direction of the longitudinally feeding protrusions 21 and thereby enabling a reduction in occurrence of defective seedling longitudinal feeding with the longitudinally feeding protruded ridge parts 22 even when longitudinal grooves, etc., are present on the back surface of the seedling mat.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
